The Grand Tour: A Simulacrum Journey

My Dearest Friend,

As you know, it was with great excitement that I finally started my Journey last season. With this capstone learning experience and with my faithful Cicerone I knew my time and studies would blossom. Now here at the end, I wish to share with you my findings and seek your praise.

I realize I jump ahead, but I must share Venice with you first.

This voluptuous mixture of sea and stone merged into artistic beauty here is not to be missed.

Also, if you look closely to you will see its beautiful cityscape, uniqueness, and rich artistic cultural heritage.

I miss her already.

I know,  I can hear your voice now, what about Paris?!

The tall majestic Eiffel Tower, the graceful Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile, and so much more-simply breathless.

Such a romantic city full of light.

Of all the things I heard before my journey, I’m shocked no one mentioned it to me before hand. Maybe this is their secret to keep, a hidden beauty amongst the country side, nestled along the still azure waters. I’m sure you have guessed, my well traveled friend, I speak of the many Italian Villas that seem to pop up everywhere and between.

The alluring waves seemed to put my vision into a trance where I could see far across to many great lands at once.

The exotic gorgeous beauty I found I will never forget and shall always remain in my heart.
